What are configurable mechanical components?

Configurable components are products in which you can select specific design features, and see the price and delivery times at a glance.

The most used configurators include linear shafts, linear guides, miniature linear guides, aluminum extrusions and aluminum sheets. Select your specifications from material, surface treatment, length and diameter.

Tailor-made processing

Our “DHM projects” tool allows you to save different projects or lists of articles on our website and sort them when it suits you. You can easily add them to your cart by clicking the "Add Project to Cart" button, or you can quickly edit them by removing and adding products from any device by logging into your account.

You can also share projects in various ways. You can submit a read-only copy and the person you shared the project with can order directly on our website. For more details, go to your projects and click the “Share Project” link.

Alternatively, you can export the project to PDF or CSV so that you can always consult, even offline, the detailed list of products of your project.

It is also possible to make your project public on the dedicated page of our site, so that everyone can take inspiration for automation applications, 3D printing, IoT ...

DHM now offers you the option to save and share your cart. This way you can save the products for a future order, or forward your shopping cart to a colleague to place the order. You can also save multiple carts. For all the details, log into your cart and click on the "Share" or "Save" icon. You must be logged in to your account to be able to save your carts.

From the page dedicated to quick orders, you can quickly proceed with the order of all the products you need at once.

Just enter the store product code (reference - SKU), title, variant and quantity required. Click on "add to cart" and you will be ready to complete the purchase.

Alternatively, you can upload the product list (BOM): upload an Excel, CSV or tab-delimited file, with the title or product code and the desired quantity. You will find the example file on the dedicated page.

3D filaments: special PLA

Special PLA filaments for all FDM 3D printers: heat sensitive, reinforced PLA, photosensitive PLA, phosphorescent PLA.

Heat sensitive filament

Heat sensitive filaments change color depending on the temperature they are exposed to. Most of these 3D printing materials change color from 29°C. Depending on the exposure, the color changes more or less, this type of filament returns to its original color when the temperature is lower (if cooled for example with air or water).

Phosphorescent filament

The phosphorescent filament for 3D printers reacts to light. It retains its natural tint in the light, but changes color in the dark (usually to green or blue). The hue and brilliance greatly depend on the time of exposure to light and the shape of the printed object.

Photosensitive filament

The photosensitive threads react to UV rays. These materials change color according to the degree of exposure to light. A conventional UV laser can change the color of 3D printed prototypes - a new field of application for 3D printing.
