Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is one of the most popular 3D printer threads on the market. The ABS filament prints between 220 and 260°C depending on the brand. It is a more difficult filament to machine than normal PLA but has superior material properties. ABS products, in fact, are characterized by high durability and resistance to high temperatures.

ABS tends to warp, requiring a higher processing temperature and a heated print bed. To combat deformation it is also recommended to use adhesive sprays or glue.
