PETG
PETG filament
PETG filament, PET filament for FDM 3D printers: PET, XT-COPOLYESTER, NGEN, HT filaments 1.75mm for 3d printing
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is the most widely used plastic in the world. It is a polyester plastic that makes up for example plastic bottles and packaging. PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a widely used filament for 3D printing. It is an intermediate filament between ABS and PLA: more flexible and resistant than PLA and easier to print than ABS.
In the catalog filaments with a diameter of 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm. PETG is basically a translucent type of yarn, which makes it suitable for many specific applications.
Characteristics of PETG filament
PETG filament prints at high temperatures (about 250°C), requires a heating plate and an adhesive spray or glue to prevent the piece from detaching from the table. Another feature of PETG is that it does not emit odors when it is printed, nor does it produce fumes.
Possible applications of PETG
This type of filament is very useful in creating prototypes such as plastic bottles or food containers. Some PETGs on our site are 100% recyclable and do not contain Bisphenol A. We offer different PETGs that adapt to every need. Find all the best manufacturers at the best price on Compass DHM projects.
