nGen ColorFabb

nGen by Colorfabb is a true all-around material suitable for everyday prints. At the heart of its reliability is the special contribution of Eastman Amphora ™ AM3300 polymer, which offers good stability during melting. From pellets to filament for 3D printing, nGen retains material properties very well, which means more stable results with less waste of material and time.

nGen exhibits advanced overhang ability, excellent aesthetic appearance, and a wide print temperature range. This allows a wide range of users to create useful and durable items. With the unique combination of a low processing temperature and a high resistance temperature (85 ° C), nGen can quickly print objects that are functional, durable, efficient and aesthetically unique.

Tips & Tricks

• Suggested printing temperature: 220-240°C
• Suggested print speed: 40-70mm/s
• Suggested printing bed temperature: 75-85°C

Print plan

Colorfabb nGen offers the best results on a heated print bed, usually set in a range between 75°C and 85°C for proper adhesion to glass. Fixing agents can also be used to improve the adhesion of the first layer.
Printing on an unheated build plate is possible for small to medium sized pieces but is not recommended for large pieces that are subject to warping.

Cooling down

Excessive cooling will lead to the creation of fragile parts with poor adhesion between layers. We therefore recommend starting with 50% cooling. It is always best to print nGen with minimum cooling to achieve the best inter-layer adhesion.
