nGen_FLEX ColorFabb

nGen_FLEX is designed as a semi-flexible material that allows most users to print at regular print speeds, cutting down on build times compared to other very flexible filaments. 3D printers with a bowden extruder will also have no problems, with both 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameter filament.
nGen_Flex is made with Eastman 3D Amphora FL6000 polymer, which is particularly suitable for 3D printing. nGen_FLEX is resistant to temperatures of about 130°C.
This means that 3D printed objects can be steam sterilized at 121°C, which is very useful for using objects printed with this material in a medical or laboratory environment.

Print plan
nGen_FLEX offers the best results on a buildTak or with the help of fixatives. Use the heated bed at about 80°C. Make sure that the distance between the nozzle and the build plate is not too low. The first layer must not be too tight to avoid then a difficult detachment of the piece at the end of printing. After printing, cooling to room temperature and heating to 85°C can make it easier to remove components.
Cooling down
As always, less cooling results in better layer-to-layer adhesion, more cooling produces better results on complex and protruding surfaces. A fan speed of 50% is recommended as the default. Set the fan speed lower if your print geometry allows.
