XT ColorFabb

ColorFabb_XT is a tough material perfect for applications requiring good mechanical performance and chemical stability. At the heart of colorFabb_XT is Eastman Amphora ™ AM1800 3D polymer, almost odorless, styrene-free and BPA-free. The formulation was created specifically for 3D printing applications.

With colorFabb_XT, you can create elements that are more functional, more durable, more efficient, and aesthetically appealing. AM1800 complies with certain FDA food contact regulations.

Tips & Tricks

• Suggested printing temperature: 240-260°C
• Suggested print speed: 40-70mm/s
• Suggested printing bed temperature: 60-70°C

Print plan

For best performance, we recommend printing colorFabb_XT on a print bed heated to 60/70°C. After printing, the build plate should cool down to around 20-30°C. At this point you can remove the printed part.

Cooling down

Excessive cooling will create brittle parts with poor layer-to-layer adhesion. We therefore recommend starting with 50% cooling. It is always best to print with the least amount of cooling to achieve the best adhesion between layers.
