ReForm rTitan (recycled)

ReForm is a sustainable initiative within Formfutura to efficiently manage our post-in industrial waste streams and turn them into high-end recycled filaments.

The ideology behind ReForm is to make 3D printing more sustainable without having to compromise on material properties and cost price.

During filament production there is a continuous stream of waste, such as:

• Filamentor not meeting specifications
• Changing colors on extruders
• Substitution of materials on extruders
• Wrong colors
• Material that has not passed quality control

This "waste filament" is carefully selected at the factory and ground into granules. The material is then homogenized, dried, crystallized and recomposed into various ReForm components and finally extruded as ReForm filament. Since ReForm is composed of 100% of its own post-industrial, i.e. industrial waste streams left over from extrusion, we know exactly what's in it and how to reprocess it into high-end filaments with material properties that are 99.5% the same as their virgin counterparts.

In today's society, recycling and economics are becoming increasingly important and relevant.
