Bushings

Bushings, or plain bushings, are another very specific type of bearing that works in a hydrodynamic lubrication regime. They are used to prevent friction in motion transmission systems. It is a cylindrical liner suitable for linear shafts. There are many types of linear bushings, and they are chosen based on the load applied and the speed of the specific application. They can be divided into three main types: self-lubricating bushings in compound material, self-lubricating metal bushings and bushings in plastic compound. Flat metal bushings are usually made of brass, steel and bronze. So before choosing the correct bushing, you need to decide on the correct type of metal for the application of the case.
