What are configurable mechanical components?

Configurable components are products in which you can select specific design features, and see the price and delivery times at a glance.

The most used configurators include linear shafts, linear guides, miniature linear guides, aluminum extrusions and aluminum sheets. Select your specifications from material, surface treatment, length and diameter.

Tailor-made processing

Our “DHM projects” tool allows you to save different projects or lists of articles on our website and sort them when it suits you. You can easily add them to your cart by clicking the "Add Project to Cart" button, or you can quickly edit them by removing and adding products from any device by logging into your account.

You can also share projects in various ways. You can submit a read-only copy and the person you shared the project with can order directly on our website. For more details, go to your projects and click the “Share Project” link.

Alternatively, you can export the project to PDF or CSV so that you can always consult, even offline, the detailed list of products of your project.

It is also possible to make your project public on the dedicated page of our site, so that everyone can take inspiration for automation applications, 3D printing, IoT ...

DHM now offers you the option to save and share your cart. This way you can save the products for a future order, or forward your shopping cart to a colleague to place the order. You can also save multiple carts. For all the details, log into your cart and click on the "Share" or "Save" icon. You must be logged in to your account to be able to save your carts.

From the page dedicated to quick orders, you can quickly proceed with the order of all the products you need at once.

A trapezoidal profile screw is a product obtained by turning or rolling. The trapezoid profile is made according to UNI 2903 (DIN 103) standards. In these particular screws the sliding of the nut on the screw is obtained by sliding. For this reason the trapezoidal screws are not recommended in cases of high rotation speed. The screw and nut screw coupling system has many applications, in general we can say that it can be used where axial displacement is required. In fact, they transform a rotational movement into a linear movement. The use of trapezoidal screws and multi-lead nuts allows to double or triple the axial displacement per turn of the screw, thus increasing the speed of the system displacement.

Warning! It is important to remember the lubrication of the trapezoidal screw for the proper functioning and reduction of wear of the screw-nut system.
