In order to connect the new Bondtech Dual-Direct Extruder, an adapter is required for early model N1 / N2 printers with silver colored stepper motors. This is because the earlier model Raise3D N1 / N2 printers with silver colored motors have a stepper motor connection that does not fit the Dual-Direct extruder motors. This adapter fits the factory extruder stepper motor cables and then connects to the Dual-Direct extruder motors. The kit includes two cable adapters. One of the cable adapters has the phase shifted to one of the stepper motor coils. This phase shift is used to change the direction of rotation of that motor and is necessary for the extruder to feed filament in the correct direction.
