ARDUINO ENGINEERING KIT is the ideal solution for college students, as it provides a practical, state-of-the-art incorporation of Arduino technology into an educational environment.
The kit is primarily for three types of users:
Students learning engineering at a university or vocational school (e.g., introductory engineering courses, controls, mechatronics);
Professors teaching engineering who also want hands-on resources to demonstrate engineering concepts;
People with an interest or background in engineering, professionally or as a hobby.
ARDUINO ENGINEERING KIT includes three cutting-edge Arduino-based projects so that students can learn fundamental engineering concepts, key aspects of mechatronics, and MATLAB and Simulink programming. These projects will challenge them intellectually and help them develop physical engineering skills.
Self-Balancing Motorcycle: This motorcycle maneuvers itself over various terrains and will remain upright using a flywheel for balance. It is very exciting to build and see in action.
Mobile Rover: This vehicle can navigate between certain landmarks, move objects with a forklift and much more. It is very fun to create and use.
Whiteboard Drawing Robot: This awesome robot can take a drawing it has been given and duplicate it on a whiteboard. It's really impressive.
The kit is sold in a hard plastic toolbox that is stackable for storage and years of reuse. Inside the box is an easy-to-use Arduino MKR1000 board, several custom parts, and a complete set of electrical and mechanical components needed to assemble all three projects.
In addition to the state-of-the-art, high-quality, open source hardware provided, after registering online, the student will have access to a dedicated e-learning platform and other learning materials. In addition, they are granted a one-year individual license of MATLAB and Simulink. This license is for educational use only, not for government, research, commercial or other organizational use.
