Schneider Electric 's red Harmony XB7 mushroom-head emergency stop monolithic button measures 40 mm, operates with a "turn to unlock " locking mechanism, and uses screw terminals. It features 2 NC contacts and a plastic ferrule. This emergency stop/shutdown button, also called EMS (Emergency Machine Stop- Emergency Machine Stop) and EMO (Emergency Off- Emergency Shutdown) single component, can be easily installed in a standard 22 mm diameter hole and is connectable with simple screw connections. It is clearly visually distinguishable from a distance due to its bright color and obvious mushroom shape. With its IP65 rating, it is resistant to shock and vibration and is protected against dust and liquid ingress.
