This board allows up to 4 Toolboard 1LC Duet 3 boards to be simultaneously connected to the Duet 3 motherboard, greatly simplifying CAN-FD bus and power wiring.
In brief:
2-way screw terminal block for power supply.
Four 2-way JST VH connectors for Toolboard power supply, there is a dedicated 5A fuse for each channel
Two RJ11 connectors for CAN bus input/output for connection to Duet 3 main board and expansion boards.
Four 4-pin JST ZH connectors to connect the CAN bus to four Toolboards.
Four pairs of 2-pin connectors for mounting with jumpers to bypass unused toolboard CAN connectors (6 jumpers shown in the figure).
CAN bus terminal 2-pin terminal, for mounting with a jumper if the CAN_OUT RJ11 port is not used (shown in figure).
The Tool Distribution board comes with a connector package containing the following:
- 4 4-way 150 mm JST ZH tails with mounted connector (CAN to tool boards)
- 4 2-way JST VH covers and connectors (power supply to tool boards)
- 2 spade connectors (power supply)
- 9 2-pin jumpers suitable for CAN bypass bridges and CAN bus terminated 2-pin header.
- 4 M3 nylon washers for mounting holes.
A 500 mm RJ11 cable is also provided for connecting the CAN_IN port to the main board, Expansion Board or other Tool Distribution board.
