The Smart Effector for delta printers allows thehotend to be used as a Z probe, providing fantastic accuracy over the entire delta area, eliminating the effect of tilting. Uses precision PCB manufacturing to ensure equal hole spacing between the effector and carriages on the towers, further improving accuracy.
Supplied with 3 PCB carriage adapters with 20 mm mounting hole spacing compatible with common linear guides and wheel carriages.
Compatible with Haydn Huntley's Magball delta arms. We have 360mm arms as an option or various lengths available directly from Haydn or other suppliers. We list sets of 6 spare magballs if you want more smart effectors for a rapido exchange.
The smart effector simplifies component wiring hotend with thermistor and fan plug connectors and a screw terminal for the heater cartridge. Molex and microfit connections are then used to wire frames to the control electronics. Crimp pins and holders are provided for all connections
Optionally, an original e3d V6 kit with PT100 or thermistor can be added, not including the heat sink as supplied as standard. (24 V available by default)
On-board LEDs for print lighting are compatible with 12V or 24V power supplies with a jumper that selects the voltage.
