Hemera Features
Dual Drive
The E3D Hemera features a hardened stainless steel dual drive system, offering a huge increase in grip compared to single drive systems; Filament is pushed up to 10 kg of force.
Individually numerically controlled cutting of each hobb tooth provides excellent grip. Being made of hardened stainless steel it resists filament debris embedded in the drive gear and in almost all cases is self-cleaning as any debris simply falls out of the teeth.
Compact and integrated system
Hemera is a system of components designed to work seamlessly together as one product. It has a custom motor, based on a Nema 17, which with the custom front plate is an integral part of the extruder housing.
Unparalleled flexible filament printing
The Hemera enables filament extrusion like no other extrusion system. You'll notice the strength of the Hemera especially when printing flexible filaments. But they also have a significant impact on printing the most commonly used materials like PLA or PETG.
A new heat sink with optimized airflow
The new heat sink design was the result of extensive testing to ensure that airflow is deflected up and away from both the HotEnd and the heated platen, reducing the risk of deformation and uneven stresses that can form in the object during printing.
Mounting
Convenient T-slots are located on the extruder's front plate that simplify mounting on the printer. In addition to mounting on the carriage, they can also be used to mount any accessories needed for printing: cooling fans, bed leveling probes or other accessories.
Compatibility
The Hemera is compatible with the blocks and nozzles of the entire V6, Volcano and SuperVolcano system.
It is only available in the 1.75mm version.
Quality Control
