This is an LGX upgrade kit for use on Prusa MK3S and MK3S+ with hotend Mosquito or Mosquito Magnum from Slice Engineering. Caution. A compatible X cart and hotend Mosquito are required for use. These are not included in the set.
Direct Upgrade Drive
This LGX-based upgrade kit is an easy-to-install replacement for the stock direct extruder. It requires the accessories included in the package LGX Accessories for MK3S & Mosquito.
Easy to install
Upgrade kit is very intuitive and easy to install. The extruder faces the X carriage, reducing the distance between the nozzle and the X axis.
Super Grip thanks to the Dual Drive
The LGX is the Bondtech extruder with the highest grip on the filament thanks to its new large gears that engage more teeth on the filament.
MMU Compatibility
This upgrade kit is not compatible with any version of MMU.

Please note, you must customize the Prusa firmware to use this upgrade.
Design from the community
This extruder design is based on Gerd Jentz's design published on GitHub. A few minor changes were made to his design and the filament sensor housing and X carriage design, compatible with the MK3S X axis, were added.
SLS-molded housing
The housing parts are professionally molded from PA12 nylon to ensure maximum strength and precision and increased temperature resistance.
Operating temperature limits
it must be considered that the operating temperature of this upgrade kit will have the following limits:
Up to 70°C due to the stepper motor.
PA12 parts can withstand up to 100°C
