The upgrade kit for Prusa i3 (MK2.5/3/3/3S/3S+) from Slice Engineering allows you to professionally upgrade your Prusa i3 3D printer.

This kit is designed to be a plug-and-play upgrade that reduces downtime, wasted filament from failed prints, the need for tinkering, increased productivity, and improved print resolution.
The Prusa i3 upgrade kit is currently available in two versions:
Copperhead® version.
The Copperhead® version uses the Prusa i3's stock heat sink and is a direct replacement for the stock hot block and heat break. This upgrade allows you to use the stock heater and temperature sensor provided by Prusa.
This kit allows you to take advantage of the benefits of Slice Engineering 's Bimetallic Heat Break™ technology and copper hot blocks without having to change the entire printhead.
Compatible with: Prusa MK2.5 / Prusa MK3 / Prusa MK3S / Prusa MK3S+
Mosquito® version
The Mosquito® version contains a 3D printed case that allows easy installation of theHotend Mosquito ® on the Prusa i3.
Thehotend Mosquito ® conducts 85% less heat than a standard threaded heat break and has greater structural rigidity, allowing the nozzle to be changed with one hand.
The Mosquito® version of the Prusa i3 upgrade kit comes with molded parts to make the installation process as easy as possible. These parts are printed with black ASA (ASA is used for its high heat deflection temperature), but files are available to print your own parts in any color or material you prefer.
Currently, the Mosquito version is only compatible with MK3S+.
To use this kit on an MK3S printer, the printer must have the red IR PCB sensor (the black IR PCB sensor may not work properly with this kit) and you will need to print the following parts:
- Printer adapter
- FS lever
- Extruder Idler
- Printer fan mount
- FS cover

1 x Pin (to fill the extra space in the thermistor slot on the hot block)

1 x 3D printed mounting casing (black ASA)
1 x Premium PTFE tubing Capricorn (pre-cut)

1 x Key set for hotend
