Package contains: 1 x EVOLV3D OBC POLYETHYLENE COPOLYMER FILAMENT - 1.75mm / 750g - 3DXTech
The Evolv3D polyethylene? OBC (olefin block copolymer) from Dow is a technical grade material based on a new polyethylene copolymer. OBC is the state of the art in polyethylene 3D printing. It eliminates many of the problems associated with printing polypropylene-based materials. OBC polyethylene is semi-crystalline and has excellent chemical resistance combined with ease of printing and true functional properties.
The spools contain 750g of filament, but based on the very low density of OBC polyethylene, this is the same amount of filament that would typically be found on a 1kg spool of ABS. This allows you to print lightweight and exceptionally durable parts for medical, drone, boat, automotive or any other application that would benefit from a lightweight, chemical-resistant material.
Benefits of OBC polyethylene include:
Superior chemical resistance
Flexible and fatigue resistant
Excellent layer bonding
Very low density, 0.95 g/cm3
No moisture absorption, no need to dry!
Virtually no odor emitted during printing
