ACETONE is a high volatile, flammable, colorless clear liquid for smoothing certain 3D printing materials with specially designed devices such as Zortrax APOLLER. ACETONE works with ABS, ASA and HIPS filaments to erase the streaking effect of 3D printing. In addition to imparting a finished appearance, a smoothing post-treatment with this type of solvent can improve the mechanical properties of the printed part; improve the sealing of printed parts; and avoid friction on sliding or moving parts
ACETONE should only be used by professionals with a suitable device such as Zortrax APOLLER or a proper ventilation system. Because of its rapid evaporation, it dries quickly. Therefore, the container should not be opened longer than necessary.
Application
For sanding ABS, ASA and HIPS filaments.
Wear gloves to handle ACETONE . Follow the sander manufacturer's guidance.
