Ready for Revo. Change nozzles at room temperature using only your fingers. No complex tools, no hot clamping. Revo nozzles are easy to fit and do not let material leak out when in use.
New heating. A Revo HeaterCore heats up in seconds. It is also much safer-unlike other solutions on the market, a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) means the Revo HeaterCore cannot melt at extreme temperatures: power is reduced as it gets hotter, so the dangers are reduced in case of thermal failure.
Narrow path for filament. Hemera is an extruder combined with a HotEnd, so it has fewer transitions than most available extrusion systems. A narrow filament path gives it excellent performance with difficult-to-print materials, such as flexible materials. Even with softer flexible materials, it can be printed without the under-extrusion or filament bonding that would occur with a standard configuration.
Wear-resistant. The Hemera's stainless steel teeth are wear-resistant, so with the right combination of components, your Hemera can effortlessly print abrasive materials and advanced composites, such as carbon fiber-filled filaments, for industrial applications. Optimized airflow. Hemera has a uniquely designed lightweight aluminum heat sink for highly effective cooling. Air is circulated through the fins and then upward and away from the 3D print, preventing any unintentional deformation of the printed part.
No loss of torque. Hemera's 3.32:1 dual drive gears produce up to 120N thrust force on the filament from both sides for accurate and controlled extrusion without loss of torque. Sharp, individually machined teeth ensure excellent filament gripping force, and round-bottom profiles help reduce any buildup of filament debris, for high-quality, consistent extrusion from the first layer to the last.
E3D Quality. Each Hemera drive includes shielded bearings and high-quality igus® bushings for optimal wear resistance. Lubrication is precisely applied to each transmission by the robots during assembly, and transmissions are thoroughly analyzed using accelerated wear testing to ensure that your Hemera has many years of 3D printing life.
Mounting options. Hemera's custom motor covers provide convenient T-slots for flat mounting on many popular 3D printers, leaving plenty of room for other accessories, such as bed leveling probes or extra part cooling fans.
Flexible to any configuration. The Hemera system works well with Bowden and direct-drive configurations. Just add an adapter Bowden (sold separately) and your Hemera becomes a powerful filament drive Bowden.
