The ObXidian nozzle is designed to achieve higher levels of wear resistance than any other E3D nozzle. ObXidian is harder than Nozzle X and any other generic hardened steel nozzle.
This was achieved by coupling a hardened steel insert with the new E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also incorporates non-stick properties into the nozzle itself. This means a considerable reduction in plastic buildup around the nozzle. In addition, this coating while maintaining the non-stick characteristic at all temperatures allows for cold external cleaning of the nozzle.
With the Revo™ system you will have the ability to easily swap nozzles cold, and you will be free to experiment with different nozzles for different applications. Between prints, swapping Revo brass nozzles for an ObXidian will be as easy as can be.
Each Revo Nozzle consists of a nozzle and HeatBreak pre-assembled into a single unit, so there is no risk of hot-tightening and wrong assembly. Say goodbye to frustrating HotEnd leakage and enjoy reliable 3D printing!
Thanks to the color-coded silicone sock, you can identify nozzle sizes at a glance. In addition, each Revo nozzle has its size engraved with easy-to-read numbers, so there is no need to learn identification markers!
Please note:
- Revo™ nozzles are not compatible with V6 blocks.
- You may need to adjust the Z offset when changing nozzles.
