The Bondtech LGX® Lite is an extruder for filament 3d printers based on the LGX® Large Gears extruder and uses Bondtech 's new Dual Drive technology based on larger drive gears.
Bondtech has created a significant number of extruders since its inception that have pushed the quality of filament prints forward.
These include the Bondtech Quick Release QR, the Bondtech Mini Geared BMG and the recently launched Bondtech Large Gears eXtruder LGX.
The LGX® Lite extruder is a new compact and simple version of the LGX.
This extruder is coupled with a Nema14 Round 20mm stepper motor.
Its very small volume and weight are designed to create an alternative Bondtech to the various compact extruders increasingly on the market in recent months. These include Orbiter, HextrudORT, and Sherpa Mini.

LGX lever positions
The LGX Lite extruder is the second Bondtech extruder to feature a pretension mechanism that includes an easy-to-use lever for users to release tension or define it as one of 2 different settings.
- Position 0: When facing the LGX eXtruder, push the lever fully to the left. Use it to load or unload the filament without pressure from the drive gears.
- Position 1: When facing the LGX eXtruder push the lever all the way to the left and then 1 position to the right. Use it to work with rigid materials.
- Position 2: When facing the LGX eXtruder push the lever all the way to the left and then 2 positions to the right. Use it to work with semi-flexible and flexible materials.
