The compact yet powerful motor is the recommended motor for the E3D Titan and Titan Aero. It is lighter and shorter than a typical NEMA17 motor, yet produces nearly the same torque. It is suitable for driving geared or direct drive extruders. It is also suitable for print axes, as long as they are lightweight, for example: a twin-screw Z-axis using 2 motors. Supplied with a 1 m motor cable. Nema 17 2-phase motor with 0.9° step angle.
The stepper motor, also called step or stepper, is a brushless synchronous DC motor that can divide its rotation into a large number of steps.
This motor at 0.9° is therefore more accurate than a motor at 1.8°.
Ideal for use in 3D printers and all applications where precision in angular displacement and rotational speed is required, such as robotics, servomechanisms, CNCs, pick and place machines and linear actuators.
Nema 17 is the category that indicates the size of the square flange side of the motor, which has a side of 1.7 inches (about 42 mm).
