Is your Raise3D Pro2 unable to print large PLA objects?
The Raise3D Pro2 can be an excellent 3D printer if you use this solution from Bondtech.
The common heat-creep, clogging and under-extrusion problems of the Raise3D Pro2 have a very simple solution.
Upgrade the hotend with Copperhead and CHT bimetallic technology.
Raise3D Pro2 has, in fact, a serious problem regarding heat loss. In particular, print jobs using low glass transition temperature materials are the most affected.
Especially if you print PLA or TPU for a time over 2 hours, you have a higher chance of failure due to under-extrusion or even clogging. The prints fail or the parts made are very fragile.
A simple and effective solution has been designed for this serious problem.
The heart of the solution is the Copperhead Heat Break, which improves heat dissipation and more effectively separates the hot and cold sides ofheatbreak.
A new heat block was designed from Bondtech to ensure compatibility with the standard silicone blocks, thermistors and socks, while allowing the use of Copperhead heat breaks and standard RepRap nozzles.
Finally, CHT nozzles Bondtech increase flow capacity and improve layer adhesion, or allow the nozzles to be used at lower temperatures.
Advantages:
- Affordable with excellent value for money
- Heat loss is minimized due to the thermal performance of Copperhead
- Improved layer adhesion due to Bondtech CHT nozzles and increased flow of PLA and other nonabrasive materials
- Compatibility with RepRap nozzles
- Quick and easy installation process that includes a measuring tool to achieve optimal configuration of thehotend
