Creality3D CR-10 V2 Compatible Kit
This extruder upgrade kit is for Creality CR-10 V2 and will replace the original extruder.
This kit does not contain the motor, as the original motor is used.
Dual Drive Performance by Bondtech
This kit provides a high performance filament feed system with the ability to print faster with improved quality.
The adjustable thumb screw allows you to fine-tune the force acting on the filament. It allows for more reliable printing with all types of filaments, both rigid and flexible, and the Dual-Drive system ensures that the extruder never loses its grip on the filament.
Recommended Lower Current
Because of the gear ratio, the stepper motor can push the filament with such force that the Bowden tube can be extruded if it becomes clogged.
To avoid such damage, it is recommended to lower the stepper motor current to about half of the original current.
Bowden Solution
The Bowden tube is held securely in place by the 4 mm threaded plug-in connector.
Reduction of filament jams
Now there is a gap of about 0.1 mm between the Bondtech gears and the SLS printed housing prevents filament from jamming inside.
An additional short PTFE tube is added between the extruder and the filament sensor to allow easier filament loading and unloading.
SLS Printed
Housing The housing parts are 3D printed with the use of SLS printer using polyamide material for maximum strength and precision.
Due to the slightly higher geometry of the extruder, the total print height will be 390mm.
Firmware Upgrade
The Creality3D firmware must be upgraded in order to use this upgrade kit.
Steps E must be updated to 415.
