This extruder upgrade kit is for Creality CR-10S PRO and will replace the original extruder.
This kit does not contain a motor, the original motor is used.
Dual Drive Performance by Bondtech
This kit provides a high performance filament feed system with the ability to print faster with improved quality.
The adjustable thumbscrew allows you to fine-tune the force acting on the filament. It allows for more reliable printing with all types of filaments, both rigid and flexible, and the Dual-Drive system ensures that the extruder never loses its grip on the filament.
Recommended Lower Current
Because of the gear ratio, the stepper motor can push the filament with such force that the Bowden tube can be extruded if it becomes clogged.
To avoid such damage, it is recommended to lower the stepper motor current to about half of the original current.
Bowden Solution
The Bowden tube is held firmly in place by the standard 4 mm integrated plug-in connector.
Reduced filament jams There is
now a gap of about 0.1mm between the Bondtech gears and the 3D printed housing using an SLS printer that prevents filament from jamming inside.
An additional short PTFE tube is added between the extruder and the filament sensor to allow for easier filament loading and unloading.
SLS Printed
Housing The housing parts are 3D printed with the use of an SLS printer using polyamide material for maximum strength and precision.
Due to the slightly higher extruder geometry, the total print height will be 385mm.
Firmware Update
The Creality3D firmware must be updated to use this upgrade kit.
E-steps must be updated to 415 and the total print height is set to 385 mm.

This kit is available in 2 versions.
With or without stand.
There is an additional version - with support for a filament sensor - compatible with the CR-10S (equipped with a filament sensor).
Procedure E must be updated to 415 and the direction of rotation of the motor must be reversed.
