The product comes with a nickel-plated copper heat block and a W2S plated copper and stainless steel heat block.
The state-of-the-art stainless steel and copper throat pipe and heated copper block that Slice Engineering designed for the Copperhead?, are its biggest advantage against the competition. That's why on many occasions, like this one, the heat sink can be ignored and users can keep the one that came with their printers.
The stock nozzles do not fit this heated block. You will need to upgrade the nozzles to the RepRap standard: M6x1x7.5 × 12.5
When changing nozzles with this hotend, you must immobilize the heated block before rotating the nozzle. Forcing the nozzle on or off without holding the heated block can cause severe damage to the thermocouple.
