Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder for Creality 3D printers is an upgrade kit that replaces the original bowden extruder with a direct drive extruder configuration. It is a high performance Dual Drive extruder based on BMG Bondtech Mini Geared.
This model was created to be compatible with the original hotend of every compatible Creality model, except for the CR-10S V2 / V3 hotend. It is also compatible with Micro Swiss hotends (Micro Swiss adapter required).
Users can upgrade the hotend to Copperhead? or Mosquito?.
The DDX will be compatible with most Creality 3D printers in the Ender and CR series. The DDX requires a set of adapters for each model or set of models.
To upgrade the hotend, a specific set of adapters will be required.
The DDX is designed to leave room for the bed probe to connect to the x-carriage. On models where there is no room to connect a bed probe, such as BLtouch, to the x-carriage, a holder can be printed and attached to the right side of the DDX.

The housing parts are molded from PA12 (polyamide) for maximum strength and precision using industrial-grade SLS technology.
Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder for Creality is designed to give the user more options - different materials; higher flow and/or wider nozzles; thinner layers and achieve superior print quality. The DDX is based on the BMG Bondtech Mini Geared extruder equipped with our exclusive Dual-Drive technology. The DDX housing design provides effective Hot-End cooling. With the 3: 1 gear ratio, you can achieve high resolution prints with small nozzles or high flow prints with larger nozzles.
For ease of installation, the kit is attached to the cart with only 2 screws.
