All the best V6 parts were carefully selected to create the V6 Gold. In addition to its polished appearance, this HotEnd is built for exceptional performance with all filaments and optimized for high temperature and abrasive 3D printing.
Heatsink "Gold"
The V6 is one of E3D's most successful components, the V6 Gold is a special celebratory version.
Heating Block
In this case, we replaced the aluminum with a plated copper block, increasing heat transfer to the filament and reducing the possibility of filament remnants adhering to it. The non-stick properties of the plated copper blocks are advantageous in high-temperature printing situations where silicone socks have a shorter lifespan.
Nozzle
The standard brass nozzle has been converted to hardened steel. While brass nozzles can be worn and even ruined by abrasive materials, hardened steel will last a lifetime. If you mold with carbon fiber filaments, wood/metal these nozzles are a must.
Heating Cartridge
The cartridges have been upgraded with high precision release heating cartridges rapido. They feature exact physical dimensions for greater surface area contact and improved electrical specifications for more stable performance. These release connectors rapido allow for easier maintenance and updates, allowing the HotEnd to be removed without having to reroute the entire wiring.
Fan Duct
A transparent injection molded plastic fan duct showcases the gold heatsink at its best.
PTFE Guide
We upgraded the standard PTFE guide to high tolerance PTFE tubing Capricorn. The tube Bowden Capricorn has a narrower diameter and much reduced friction, offering smoother and more accurate extrusion.
