A threaded heat sink for those who want a groove-mount alternative. Perfect for Delta printers!
There are a couple of problems with the groove-mount:
- The fit is highly dependent on the quality of the workmanship of the parts
- The fit can loosen after repeated removal and re-assembly
To combat these problems, you can use the blue threaded heat sink.
Threading also offers a number of advantages:
- Reliable and repeatable placement on the machine
- Wear from repeated removal and reassembly is not an issue
- Offers more versatile mounting options, e.g. through a threaded plate
- Offers the same thermal performance as a standard V6 heatsink and is already used by companies such as Duet3D.
This threaded heatsink comes with M12 nut, thermal paste and clip.
