How to print parts for a Voron 2.4?
There are several ways in which you can get the parts printed for your Voron 2.4. First among them is to print them yourself according to the guidelines of Voron Deisgn.
All STL can be found here :

What is the PIF service?
If you are unable to print parts of a Voron yourself, there is a service called Print it Forward (PIF).
It originated at community of VORON Design and allows newcomers to help by offering a parts printing service. The goal of PIF is to provide a set of structural parts needed for the desired Voron printer. You submit your request, are placed in a queue, and when it is your turn, one of the suppliers will contact you to confirm the details before printing your plastics.
It may happen, however, that the wait is long, so we have thought of creating a dedicated kit, in which you can find not only the essential parts, but also the optional ones. This way you can decide how to customize your printer with color matches and be ready to assemble it as soon as you receive the complete kit.
By relying on a single printing service, the quality and color of the plastics will be uniform among the various components.
How to figure out the different parts to be printed?
The parts are divided according to their use, and the official manual Voron 2.4 shows how to assemble them.
To expand the possibility of customization, the plastic kit for Voron 2.4 made by DHM has been divided into three groups: STRUCTURAL - PRIMARY - SECONDARY parts
- FDM-printed STRUCTURAL parts are the components subjected to the greatest mechanical stress and/or temperature changes.
- PRIMARY FDM printed parts are less critical or aesthetically pleasing parts to match in color contrast with secondary (default BLACK) parts.
- SECONDARY FDM printed parts are less critical or aesthetic parts to be matched in color contrast to the primary (default RED) parts
Using the various combinations you can get a unique specimen by choosing from more than 200 color combinations!
Customization makes your Voron 2.4 personal and representative of your style!
What materials are they printed in?
When determining the materials with which to create the printed pieces Voron, a number of criteria must be considered. The various materials were evaluated by the Voron Design team, and we relied on both their input and our experience in 3D printing of more than 10 years.
Print chamber temperatures inside a closed Voron printer (with the panelling and heated platen on) normally reach 45°C up to a maximum of 60°C. The material chosen must therefore have a thermal deformation temperature or glass transition temperature of at least 80°C.
Aiming for maximum quality, we have therefore narrowed down the possible choices to two materials: Nylon Carbon and ASA.
- Nylon Carbon is a carbon fiber reinforced Nylon filament. We chose it for structural parts as it has excellent physical-mechanical properties. It is perfect for precise and durable prints of objects that must withstand high temperatures and impacts. We therefore chose it for structural parts.
- ASA has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of about 105°C. It has moderate stiffness and ductility. It is a good substitute for ABS, has optimized mechanical properties, UV resistance, and allows for extensive color customization. Its characteristics allow molded parts to withstand well in a high temperature environment while withstanding some flexing without cracking. Therefore, we chose it for primary and secondary parts.
Caution. It is not recommended to use PLA and PETG if the goal is to obtain a high-performance machine for closed-chamber printing of technopolymers as well. Printing materials such as Nylon Carbon, ASA or ABS is not easy, so we recommend that you rely on the PIF service, or purchase the complete plastics kit directly here.
What is included in the kit?
The kit made by DHM is a complete kit of all parts molded to your needs. This kit includes all functional parts plus all accessory parts such as skirts, electronics mounts, screen cases, etc.
At the bottom of the page you can download the updated list of all parts included in the kit.
PROMO
In case the plastics are selected by purchasing the kits step-by-step DHM you will enjoy a 25% discount on the molded parts. If they are purchased by including them in the complete 2.4 printer bundle you will get a 30% discount.
Notes:
Media is used during printing, it may happen that some parts get out of control and need to be removed before installation.
