SenseCAP ORCH S4 comes in two versions. The main difference is in the cable connector. Please choose the version that best suits your needs:
(1) Version A1B: with a waterproof aviation connector. This version saves you time in deployment as you won't have to use screws to connect the cable to the data logger. And it can be used with SenseCAP Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger instantly with ease.
(2) Version A1A: with hook-up wires.

SenseCAP ORCH S4 is an Air Temperature / Humidity / Atmospheric Pressure / Light four-in-one weather instrument featuring solid performance, ultra-low power consumption, and easy installation. It integrates 4 sensors monitoring parameters of air temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and light intensity. With strong robustness, it is particularly suitable to operate in severe environments both indoor and outdoor. This version (A1B) comes with a waterproof aviation connector, saving you time and efforts in connecting the sensor to a data logger with hook-up wires and screws.
This weather instrument supports two universal standard protocols: MODBUS (MODBUS-RTU/MODBUS-ASCII) and SDI-12. With a wide range of power voltage from 3.6V to 16V and ultra-low power consumption, ORCH S4 has ensured durability to maintain long-term meteorological monitoring. The built-in data pre-processing enables users to unlock and complete new system development and integration in a convenient manner. This weather transmitter also comes with a solar radiation shield which effectively reduces the impact of solar radiation, thus further guarantees data accuracy. As an industrial-grade product, its IP66 enclosure also protects the sensors from rain, dust, and UV.
As an indispensable component of weather stations, ORCH S4 meteorological sensor can be widely applied to a variety of environments, including smart agriculture, smart city, smart building, and etc. This product has been deployed in strawberry greenhouses in Shandong Province in northern China with great customer feedback.
